Christina & Bryan - October 13th, 2007

Christina and Bryan's reception took place at the Carnegie Music Hall. This was my first reception in the Music Hall and all I can say is "wow". The Music Hall is beautiful to say the least.

Greek - American Wedding.
Christina and Bryan wanted entertain both sides of their family. I shared the dance floor with a great Greek band called Panigiri (412.563.1360)

We were a little cramped in the space provided, hence on of my speakers in front of the table. The first picture is my set up and the second is the band and mine.

The cocktail hour took place at the Hall of Architecture. Christina couldn't of picked a better place to incorporate the Greek feel into the wedding.

Here are a couple shots I took before the doors where open to the Music Hall.

Christina's and Bryan's first dance. (right after the intro)

This is Bryan's brother and the best ban Brent Mackrell giving his toast.

Christina's best friend and Maid of Honor Anjali Singh's toast.

The next toast is Christina's brother also the Koumbaro giving his toast. The Koumbaro is a great Greek wedding title. It is like Christina's best man.

Christina and her father John.

Bryan and his lovely mother Marry-Ann

Wedding Cake ceremony.

The band started off the dance floor with Christina's and Bryan's first Greek dance.

The band played for about 45 minutes then I took over for the rest of the night.

Autumn-Lynn & Jonathan - October 12th, 2007

(Photo in the picture is by Terry Clark)

Autumn-Lynn's and Jonathan's wedding was at the Chadwick in Wexford. Linda was my contact person at the Chadwick. What a great person! While I was setting up is sounded like I was in a Comedy Central Comedian Hour. Linda and her staff are such a joy to work with.

Autumn-Lynn's wonderful wedding cake. I liked the flowers....

This is a really cool personal touch that autumn-Lynn and Jonathan brought into their wedding. They have 10 close firends and family members whom have birthdays in October. Autumn-Lynn herself birthday was the day before her wedding!
I played the "It's Your Birthday" by the Beatles while announcing all of our October Birthday's. Autumn-Lynn then took a group shot with all of them.

Pictures of the Chadwick before the guests arrival.

Cookies, Cookies and more Cookies. There was three 6' tables full every kind of cookie you could imagine and this was only 60% of the cookies brought!

Autumn-Lynn and Jonathan's first dance.

Ok, this event was unbelievable. Autumn-Lynn sang "Longer" by Dan Fogelberg to Jonathan. Jonathan had no clue what we were doing. Neal brought his guitar from Callifornia just for this moment.

The love on Jonathan's face is priceless.

This formality song has a unique twist and heart fullfilled meaning. Sadly, Autumn-Lynn's father passed away from Diabetes. She wanted a special moment on her wedding day just for him.
Autumn-Lynn's friend Neal Parrish (playing the guitar in the previous picture) has his own recording studio in Callifornia. Autumn-Lynn sang and recorded a song for her father.

Autumn-Lynn and her brother Adam danced to this incredibly special song.

This is Autumn-Lynn and her stepfather Paul dancing.

Jonathan and his mother Janice.

Crazy dance shots from the night.

Autumn-Lynn and Jonathan hired the great Terry Clark for their photographer. Terry will be supplying me with some great shots of the wedding. I will be posting them up on the blog ASAP. I can not wait to see them!

Intro: This is another unquie thing we did at the wedding. We started the into out with Harry Conick Jr.'s "It had to be you". This was used for my introductions. Right before I started the announcements of the Bridal Party the track did a track "slowdown" then hit everyone with a nice techno beat song. "Pimpin" It worked out wonderful.

"Jeremy was the first DJ we interviewed, and from our initial phone conversation with him, Jonathan and I knew that our search was over! Our wedding was for us, absolutely perfect. The reception was like a scene from our favorite nightclub ... an absolute PARTY!! Jeremy kept the beats pumping, and the dance floor crowded ... he infused every formality with a unique twist, and believe us when we say: Jeremy Ganss is class personified. He was professional from the word go ... and if we could get married all over again, we would just for the party and the music!! Thanks Jeremy ... you're a true asset to your profession!"

Jaime & Kolby - October 6th, 2007

Jaime and Kolby's wedding took place at the Hyatt Regency by the Pittsburgh International Airport. Jaime and Kolby had many out of town guests that flew into Pittsburgh and the Hyatt was the perfect place for this.

The cocktail hour took place outside of the main ballroom. I twisted one of my Bose Towers around to play music in the foyer area. I pulled the tower besides my table once the cocktail hour was over. This worked out perfect!

"B" for Baker! The wedding cake looked amazing.

Here are some random shots of the hall. The light fixtures are a unique style of modern art.

Jaime and Kolby cutting their wedding cake. We did this right after the Grand Introductions.

Best man Bob giving his toast.
The first picture is Jaime's sister Betsy, she is also the Maid of Honor. The second picture is our Matron of honor Jennifer.

Jaime and Kolby's first dance. The had their entire dance choreographed. Jaime said Kolby was very nervous. They both did a wonderful job.

Bridal Party Dance.

We had a little hick up during the reception. Jaime and Kolby's limo driver got lost! This lead us to be about 35-40 minutes behind schedule.
I made an executive decision on how to keep us on schedule. Instead of waiting for dinner to be over to do the formality dances, I asked Jaime and Kolby if they wanted to do the formality dances between meal courses.
This worked out perfect. Once dinner was done we where only 15 minutes behind our timeline!
Before we opened up the dance floor, Kolby and Jaime brought out a Birthday Cake for Jaime's father. It was his his 55th Birthday! Steve told me later that night he was glad to share a day with his daughter. Then said, "Jeremy, at least I will never forget their wedding date!"

(random dance shots)

Mother Son Dance: Landslide - Fleetwood Mac

Thanks so much for doing Jaime and Kolby's wedding yesterday. I can't tell you how pleased we were, from start to finish. Everyone had a great time, and commented how great the music was, and how packed the dance floor was, ALL NIGHT. That is a real tribute to you, and the songs you selected with the kids.. You also did a great job in picking up the pace of events to get us back on schedule.
We were at a wedding where the music absolutely killed the event. At ours, it made it!
Best wishes to you in your upcoming marriage also.

Steve Helm" (Jaime's Father)
