Elizabeth & Chris December 29th, 2007

"The perfect way to end your year."

Elizabeth and Chris's wedding reception took place at the Valley Brook Country Club. As you can see from the pictures below the County Club is beautiful.

I had the privilege to work with Melody Farrin again. Two weddings in a row for me!
They also hired Kamen Bonev to capture their love today by video.

Here are some shots of the hall before the guests arrived.

Elizabeth's family is from a Greek background. Dennis and Mary-Beth (liz's Parents) took Greek dance lessons from Dimitrios Pantzoulas. Elizabeth and Chris also took a couple lesson the week of their wedding.
I need to send out a personal THANK YOU to Dimitrios. He helped me out a lot to understand the different types of Greek songs and he also helped me get some songs to play at the wedding.
Elizabeth had many relatives that could not wait until the Greek music started. We started off the "open dance floor" night with the Greek songs, and boy was it a hit!

The next pictures are some of my favorite dance shots from the night.

Here's a little of their first dance.

Intro: Reach Out, I'll Be There - Four Tops (Parents)
What is Love - Haddaway (B. Party)
Can't get Enough of Your Love - Barry White (B&G)
First Dance: This Magic Moment - Drifters

F/D Dance: Daughter - Loudon Wainwright
M/S Dance: I'll Always Be Your Mother - Lynn Leonti

Amanda & Reggie December 1st, 2007

Amanda and Reggie's Ceremony and Reception took place at the Carnegie Music Hall. The Ceremony took place on the stage where the bands usually set up. I snapped this picture from the hallway during the end of the ceremony.

Amanda and Reggie hired Melody Farrin for their photographer. I worked with Melody on September 1st at Eileen and AJ's wedding. She is a joy to work with and a wonderful person. Check out her work on her web site.

I took these pictures while the ceremony was still going on.

Bose baby! They sounded wonderful. Most brides are a little afraid of the hall's acoustics because of the high ceilings. Amanda said she would chat with any of my couples that wanted to know about the sound quality.

The picture on the right was taken from the "Sweet Heart" table. This is what brides should expect to see of a DJ setup for their wedding.
Clean, Elegant, Classy......

Pictures of the wonderful wedding cake!

Reggie and Amanda's first dance picture.

Father Daughter Dance

Mother Son Dance

Here come some great dance shots from the night.
This is Bill (Amanda's father) and Amanda dancing to "Shout".

Ok, I'm trying something new with my blog posts now. I video recorded a small bit of dancing with my camera and will start posting them on my blogs.
Amanda and Reggie took many many hours of ball room dancing. The song "Moon River" was on the top of their request list and from the video you can see why.
Intro: Love and Marriage - Franky (Bridal Party)
New York, New York - Franky (Amanda and Reggie)
Cake: Love Will Keep Us Together - Captain & Tennille
First Dance: Let's Stay Together - Al Green
Father/Daughter: The Way You Look Tonight - Franky
Mother/ Son: Somewhere Over The Rainbow - Israel K.
Dear Jeremy,

We need to thank you again for well exceeding our greatest expectations for musical entertainment at our wedding! In short- you were amazing!! With the roadblocks we threw that night- you handled it like an absolute pro!

The sound was amazing- every word was clear, no echo, no reverberations, perfectly balanced- I would think an amazing feat in such a huge space- and with marble!!

EVERYONE, every guest, family member, etc has been raving about how great you were and what a fabulous actual DJ you are- mixing songs, feeling the crowd, keeping it exciting. The fact that when the last song was played at midnight the dance floor was packed, and guests still lingered for an hour!

YOU DID IT!
Thank you so much for making our wedding one for the books!

Amanda & Reggie
