Lindsay & Ryan - June 28th, 2008

Lindsay and Ryan's reception took place at the Oakmont Country Club. One of the best things about the Oakmont C.C. is it is only 10 minutes from my grandmother's house, where I stayed at the night before. :) Ok, that's just me being silly, but it was nice.
Cocktails took place outside on the wrap around porch over looking the beautiful golf course. . . We were lucky enough it didn't rain until everyone came inside the ball room.

Set up picture.

Room setup picutres.

The apple center pieces were a unique aspect to their wedding.

The first toast of the night came from Lindsay's father Jack.

Ryan's brother and Best Man gave the second speech of the night.

Following PJ was Lindsay's sister and Maid of Honor Natalie.

After dinner Ryan gave a great thank you toast to his friends and family. He then ended his toast asking for Lindsay's hand for their first dance as husband and wife.

Lindsay told me she wanted a great dance party wedding. . . boy did she get one.

Chris Gooden was their photographer for the night. You can see some of his pictures he took here. I'm going to email him for some pictures for myself! They look great.

Lindsay and Ryan also had Bob from Videosaic capture the day in motion. Bob does wonderful work. . . Check out his site.

Courtney & Mic - June 27th, 2008

Courtney and Mic's wedding took place in the Urban Room at the Omni William Penn Hotel.
This was my first time at the Omni William Penn Hotel. The Urban Room had a wonderful aura about it. . . yes it is a little dark in here, but it truly set a different atmosphere you rarely get a wedding receptions.
Set up Picture.

Room setup pictures.

I was told by Courtney that Mic designed the wedding cake. . . Great job Mic!

Mic and his mother Sharron in the mother son dance.

I can say, I was a little concerned about the dancing for Courtney and Mic's wedding. Why? Well, a lot of their requests were songs that I have never played at weddings before and I was unsure how they would work.

All I can say is they know their friends very well. We had a packed dance floor all night long.

Courtney and Mic hired Mike Bordo to capture the moments of the night. I worked with Mike at the Wanango Country Club, where I'll be getting married next weekend, a couple years ago.

Becky & John - June 21st, 2008

A little Buffet, beautiful Palm Tree center pieces, all at the "Water Front" room at the Sheraton Station Square.
It trully felt like we were in the "islands".

Just look at that center piece! It's a palm tree. . . I never seen anything mimic a real palm tree so well. My hat goes off to Reed & Pedals florists for such a unique idea.

Just a couple room shots.

Cocktail area.

The favors were a beach bucket with two bottles of Corona. :)

Once again, the best cupcakes in Pittsburgh! "Dozens Cupcakes"
I actually have them doing my wedding on the 5th of July. :)

The first toast for the night was our Maid of Honor Megan.

Following Megan's toast was our two Best Men, Jeff and Jamie.

Becky and John's first dance.

Becky and her father, Ralph, in the Father / Daughter Dance.

John and his mother Betsy in the Mother / Son dance.

Dance, dance, dance the night away. . . . .
