What a night at the Heinz History Center! We had such a mix of people at my son’s wedding reception, many of whom had never met previously. But the dancing started and never ended. Fast or slow, the floor was full. I think people underestimate how easy it is to let a mood slip away and you never get that back. This does not happen with Jeremy. This was my second wedding with Jeremy, the first that I hosted, and it was the best decision made in all our planning.

The little things: Jeremy is not "on time", he is EARLY. He is well dressed and professional in his demeanor. Jeremy understands what you need to be thinking about better than you do, but once he clues you in, he wants to follow YOUR lead. His lines of communication are open throughout the planning process, even if a certain host happens to be “intense about music”. He is happy to find out how it can be YOUR party--different from the one he did last week. He cares about your event as much as you do.

I will be frank. Jeremy cost a bit more than other DJ's, but I didn't blink. I knew I had one chance, and I had a successful reception because of my choice.

If anyone wants my personal reference, I would be happy to give it. And if you need a witness, just call. I will gladly show up and dance at your wedding!

To say Jeremy was a great DJ, just doesn't do him any justice. From our first conversation a year before the wedding, I knew our entertainment was in good hands. He and I chatted for over an hour about the style of the wedding, our taste in music and the general coordination of the night. Jeremy really made us feel like he would have everything under control and that the night was ours to enjoy and our only concern was just having fun!

He was extremely good at keeping in touch over the course of the planning year and I never had to worry about where we were in the process. He was proactive in contacting me and always prompt in responding if I had a question along the way. The week of the wedding Jeremy went above the "NORMAL" call of duty of a DJ and contacted all our wedding professionals to distribute all information and timeline of the night. Many of our vendors commented to me on how helpful and great this was and that NO one has ever done that before!

The night of the wedding, Jeremy delivered on every expectation that we had imagined. He played cool, new dinner music that many guests complimented us on. He made sure the night flowed seamlessly and most importantly, played GREAT songs that everyone could dance to. We had an absolute blast at our reception and we are so thankful we booked Jeremy. You, by far, were teh hit of the night. Your songs (our tastes mixed with your advice) really created the fun, energetic mood of the night. We had an absolute blast at our wedding!

We are both music lovers and know how influential the right song choices can have on people's mood, intensity, and general demeanor. Your selections were perfect for the evening-the dinner music was outstanding! I had a number of people compliment how great the vibe was. The dance floor was packed all night-I don't think I left the dance floor the enitre evening. You were able to draw in a variety of groups on the dance floor by mixing up oldies, classics and new hip hop/dance songs. Getting my dad to dance is a chore and the fact that he was on the dance floor for more than one songs is MONUMENTAL!

Ending the night with "Piano Man" was so memorable and Josh and I will always cherish that moment with our friends and family around us. This is a moment we will take to our rocking chairs 60 years form now.

Hi Jeremy,

I can’t even begin to thank you enough for the amazing job that you did at our wedding. Not only were Matt and I completely blown away by how incredibly smooth everything went, and how great the song selection was during the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, but our guests were telling us all night how blown away they were as well!

When I first began planning all the details of my wedding I compared notes with a lot of friends who were also in the process of planning weddings or who had recently gotten married. Everyone had at least one or 2 things that were most important to them – photographer, location, food, etc. While all of those things are certainly important, the most important thing to us was the entertainment and making sure that our guests had a great time and would still be talking about how much fun they had months or even years later. I do a lot of traveling for work and spent many nights in hotel rooms during my wedding planning months without much to do but research venues, photographers, caterers, and DJs. From the moment I pulled up your website, I was beyond impressed. I filled out the form requesting more information, and literally within 5 minutes of clicking on submit, had a call from you.

We talked for about 45 minutes, and I was completely convinced that you were the best of the best within the first 5 minutes of the conversation. You definitely eased my mind of many of the details of the entire day – from offering to play the music for the ceremony to helping me plan the order of events for the night. You mentioned details of the evening to me that I never even thought about and you had a plan for everything. No other DJ that I researched or spoke to went that extra mile to assure me that everything would go off flawlessly.

I loved the website and being able to login to plan the order of events and enter my requests for music of what I would like to have played and what I absolutely did not want to have played. You even had a plan for what you would do if someone came up and requested a song from my “do not play” list!

So, needless to say, our wedding was fabulous and it was due in large part to your work and talent. From the first conversation we had, I knew I would never be as happy with any other DJ. I recommend you to anyone that asks and tell them that there is no DJ that is as good as what they do as you are.

He was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and we are so happy we did. After hearing rave reviews from every single venue we considered in the Pittsburgh area we decided to book him.
Having a great DJ was key to our wedding reception and Jeremy did an amazing job. We knew from the start that we wanted our wedding to be elegant and tasteful, but we still wanted everyone out on the dance floor to party the whole night. My husband Jeremy and I can't thank Jeremy Ganss enough for giving us such a beautiful, elegant, and romantic evening during our July 16th wedding reception at The Chadwick. From the very first phone conversation to endless emails thereafter, he was always there to answer any and all questions and reassure me that everything will go smoothly.

We had a multi cultural wedding (Bosnian / American) and were very nervous abou tthe music and knew it would be trick fusing the two different cultures and very different styles of music. We also absolutely did not want things like the chicken dance, electric slide, fog machines, flashing lights, etc. we knew many "typical wedding" DJs would not be able to deal with this or with an extremely organized bride (read obsessive-compulsive, haha) who came armed with long "must play lists" and "do not play / do lists". Jeremy handled all of our request effortlessly. We wanted to include a traditional Bosnian dance (similar to the Irish dances where everyone gets into a circle and moves back and forth.. lots of footwork and lots of participation needed!) We didn't have the instrumental music that was needed for this dance, we could only find a YouTube link, and Jeremy pulled it down into our playlist and even cleaned up the quality. He did the same with several other Bosnian songs that we wanted to play at our wedding but couldn't find the tracks anywhere else. Our firends and families had so much fun at our wedding and we wish we could relive it again but in slow motion so we don't miss a thing this time!

Jeremy is very detailed oriented, devoted and it is clear that he loves doing this for a living. We absolutely loved him and would highly recommend him to anyone!!

This was a really neat idea that Joe & Nicole did. Instead of a traditional guest book, they had their friends and family sign wine bottles. They have bottles for their 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 year anniversary.

Jose and Laura had a Wedding Spot light in the Pittsburgh Trib. I DJed their wedding on May 26th, 2011 at the Omni William Penn Hotel.

Their wedding was very challenging because Jose's family was from Peru and Laura's family is Italian. Overall, the wedding couldn't have been better. Everyone had a great time.
